Catherine Lisa Campbell was born in London, England on August 14, 1968. She has a mix of British and Iranian features brought about by her ancestry.

This former aspiring doctor started her modeling career during her college days. When she discovered an opportunity in Japan, she decided to dismiss her studies and pursue her dream of becoming a model. After some time, she left Japan and went back to the US to study acting.

For her first appearance on the silver screen, you may hardly notice her because her role was merely Isabella Rossellini's body double in the movie Death Becomes Her. It actually took a lot of years before she had the chance to prove her self. The fruits of all her efforts were shown in her supporting role in the movies Bruce Almighty, and its sequel Evan Almighty.
